Repositioning

I rarely miss the Kentucky Derby, but my daughter’s college graduation made me forget about this usually important event. It’s interesting to me how things can get bumped from their position of importance. We tend to show up for important things in life. We will reposition things to reestablish a better order, one that reflects our current state of mind.

I like how this is exhibited in the Apostle Paul’s life. Formerly Paul did not even place Jesus in the running, but after experiencing Jesus (Acts 9,22, & 26) he writes…..

“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,”

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Paul repositions Jesus to #1 and it would be good for us to do the same.

Peace to you!🙂
