As we live, we gradually approach the stage where our bodies begin to deteriorate, symbolizing our "falling apart." In our youth, we often dismiss this reality without much thought. However, there comes a moment when we recognize that today might represent the peak of our physical abilities. I'm not trying to be pessimistic; I'm merely acknowledging reality. It's intriguing how, as we age and our bodies show signs of wear, we sometimes gain valuable wisdom. Just as fine wine improves with age, we too can become more useful over time.
This reminds me of certain passages in the Bible where God instructs his people to share stories and answer questions posed by the younger generation about certain symbols or celebrated events.
My thoughts then turn to Adam and the wisdom he possessed, which he passed on to his children. Consider this: after living for 600 years, he could still gather his kin and recount the very beginning, his experience of walking with God, the beauty of the Garden of Eden, and its precise location. Adam's journey of "falling apart" unfolded over 930 years.
As we all take part in this "Falling Apart Society," whether the process is gradual or rapid, we possess beautiful things to pass on, notably the wisdom that originates from God. Let the Falling Apart Society resonate with the wisdom of God.
